A Master Mechanic Family

Jeff Pheasant started his career passion when he was a young boy. As a "hands on" owner Jeff makes sure every employee at the shop understands what they are here to accomplish. It is important to Jeff that customers know we are loyal to them and their cars needs. "We aren't just offering a product for sale, we offer SERVICE, KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE. Jeff has worked for some of the "old school masters" and has built a lifetime of experience from their teachings. He is ASE Master Certified and carries a 1G & 2G certification. Jeff supports ongoing education at the shop and provides monthly opportunities for all employees to attend classes and sharpen their skills. He wants everyone he employs to stay up on the newest standards and methods in car maintenance and repair. His passion outside of the shop is "horsepower". He visits the Sema show every year (and brings a few employees sometimes) to learn about the newest trends in automotive technology. Jeff loves his family life and supports his wife and daughter in their passion, horses and his son in his passion, motorcycling. "I love horses . . . as long as they're in cylinders!" is a catch phrase you can hear Jeff repeat around the shop on any give day.

When you walk into the front office you will find Louis Weston holding down the front desk. Louis's first car was a Chevy Chevette. Way in the back office you will find Shari Pheasant, Jeff's wife. She handles everything that holds the shop together form the "back side". Creating commercials, the website, working with sales rep.'s, networking in the community, managing finances and keeping up on licensing and standards are a few of her responsibilities. "I don't fix cars!" Shari says with a smile. "But, I can test the lights or something, if anyone needs help. We are a team here and our combined talents and abilities are what make our shop one of the best around." Shari is partial to horses and works them into everything she can. She is a member of the Reno Rodeo committee and enjoys bringing one of her mustangs, Nevada Skye, to schools to visit first graders as a part of the Black Stallion Literacy Project through the rodeo. "There is nothing more rewarding than making a difference in a child's life. Horses do that naturally."

Melinda Cowan can be found at the front desk most afternoons. A college student at UNR, studying pre vet, her mornings are kept busy with classes and horses. She rides every chance she gets and loves the western lifestyle of Nevada. Melinda volunteers in our community through Reno Rodeo and is currently serving as Miss Reno Rodeo 2011. She is new to the auto motive industry but is a quick study and in just six months has become a vital part of our front desk operations. Melinda enjoys taking care of every customer and making sure you have received the communication about your vehicle you need. She also desert rides on a motorcycle with Steve, her beau, and friends as often as possible.
